      Don Kleinschmidt

Don began his insurance career in 1981 when he and his family moved back to his hometown of Ann Arbor after being away for 15 years. During those 15 years he was in the United States Navy for four years, graduated from Grand Valley State University and started a business in the Traverse City area.  Don has managed the Jones Agency since 1984 when it was acquired from “Pete” Jones upon his retirement. 

After 30 plus years in the insurance industry he enjoys providing quality insurance guidance.  Don's current interests include aviation, restoring old vehicles and community involvement.

 
  Lou Ann Thompson

Lou Ann began her insurance career in 1985 by obtaining a Property and Casualty insurance license from the State of Michigan.  In 1989 she joined Jones Insurance which now gives her over 25 years of insurance experience.

Born and raised in Milan, Lou Ann is a graduate of Milan High School.  She enjoys boating, fishing and camping. 

Heather has 15 years of experience serving our clients since she began her career at Jones Insurance in 1997. She received her Property and Casualty license in 1998. She went on to obtain the Certified Insurance Service Representative designation in 1999. This designation is earned by attending five comprehensive classes and passing an exam for each class. In 2005 she obtained her Life Insurance license.

Heather specializes in property and casualty insurance. She had serviced our personal insurance customers for five years and then moved to the position of Commercial Insurance Representative, where she has been serving our customers for the past 10 years. She is also the Marketing Representative for the agency as well.

She has many interests, some include boating, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding, holistic medicine, traveling and spending time with her family.

 
        Connie Dotson

Connie has over 17 years of experience in the insurance industry.  She has been serving our clients since 2004 when she began her career at Jones Insurance.  She received her Property and Casualty License and her Life and Health License in 2000.  She went on to obtain her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation in 2005.

Connie specializes in property and casualty and life and health insurance.  She has serviced our personal and life and health insurance customers for eight years.

Her interests include singing, sewing, crafting, photography, traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

 
     Sherry Howard

Sherry joined Jones Insurance in 2007 as our receptionist.  She focuses her attention on getting to know our clients and enhancing the level of customer satisfaction.
